Delivering care as it should be

While everyone at Doris Jones plays a critical role in delivering services to our clients, it is the members of our care team who ultimately visit the homes and attend to the needs of our clients.

The work they do, and the way in which they do it, makes these people very special indeed.

They come from all walks of life. Some are older, some younger. Some have many years experience while others are just starting out or working around their further education commitments. All are comprehensively trained to provide care, and many have other qualifications in complementary fields, from hair and nail-care to physiotherapy.

But what they all have in common is that they are 'Doris people' - and that means a lot. A Doris person is someone who understands the whole idea behind 'care as it should be'. They know about taking time to do things properly, about being respectful and courteous, about making sure that the needs of the person being cared for always come first.
