Caroline is a NICE fellow

Never one to rest on her laurels, Caroline has been awarded a 3-year Fellowship with NICE, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.

As part or her fellowship, Caroline will complete a project to investigate how homecare providers and prescribers communicate about medications, using the NICE guidelines as a basis.

The objective of the project is to highlight the difficulties with the current "system" and explore the potential for greater efficiency, expediency and, above all, safety to the process of prescribing and administering medication to those being cared for at home.
