Helping families support their loved ones

Negotiating the world of elderly care for the first time can be daunting, confusing and stressful. And it often comes at a time when you’re already worried about a loved one. We have helped hundreds of local families since setting up in 2011 and we are here, ready to help whenever you need us.

Leaving it too long can cause burden and risk the safety of your loved one. Yet introducing care earlier can be met with resistance. The “right” time differs from family to family and individual to individual. We can help you find the best solution for you and those you care for.

When is the right time?

It’s one thing deciding that there is a need for additional support but it can be difficult to know exactly how to go about getting it.

What sort of support is required? How to gently introduce it into the routine of a loved one?
Understanding costs and funding, allowances and dispensations. These are all things we can help with.

How do we go about it?

The care planning process

Since no two people’s needs are the same, it stands to reason that no two care plans are the same.
We build our service around the unique needs of each family we support.

The planning process starts with one or more discussions about the needs of the person concerned,
as well as any family members, friends or neighbours involved in that person’s care.
The resulting care plan is then reviewed on an ongoing basis to reflect any changes in circumstances.
